I just returned home from an amazing time at the 2:1 Conference in Herndon, VA. While there, my girls, a close friend, and her daughter, also visited Washington DC. We had an amazing time, and I hope you saw some pictures on my Instagram!

We used Anatomy last year and it is such an awesome program! Exploring Creation with Human Anatomy and Physiology is an elementary level Anatomy and Physiology book that gives glory to God as children discover all that goes on in their bodies from their heads to the nails on their toes! Beginning with a brief history of medicine and a peek into cells and DNA, your students will voyage through fourteen lessons covering many subjects.
Audio Book for Anatomy
Author Jeannie Fulbright reads the Exploring Creation with Human Anatomy and Physiology text. Perfect for students who are not reading on their own yet, or for the entire family to enjoy together. This is great for those kids who are auditory learners!
Homeschool 101 Course
Guys, I have been a long time Apologia user and did NOT know about this course. It looks so encouraging and full of valuable information for veteran and new homeschoolers.
Homeschooling is a big commitment that requires you to travel well outside your comfort zone. But the journey isn’t as daunting when you’re traveling with friends who’ve driven the course and been to the finish line.

I received a green bag like this one last year, and use it ALL the time! You won’t believe the number of people who have asked me about it, and it has really started some amazing conversations about homeschooling. So, I was SUPER excited to get a NEW one and on our first trip out in the city with it, we met another homeschooler on the subway 🙂 They also sent us home with a super cute pen AND a cooler bag.
Apologia Astronomy Kit
And the LAST thing I want to share with you is this astronomy kit! I shared with Rachael that we were using Astronomy this year and that my middle was struggling since she really prefers studying animals. Her response? Try the kit! She is a HUGE hands-on learner and she LOVES experiments. This kit has everything ready to go making my life (and the odds of us DOING the projects) a lot better. It really contains EVERYTHING!
