It’s Christmas shopping season and if you have a preschooler to buy for, you may be wondering what to get for them. Well, look no further! I have 10 great gift ideas for preschoolers!
These are all products my kids have owned and loved or ones that I would buy for my own kids.
1. VTech MobiGo 2 Touch Learning System
This system looks really neat and like one that kids would love to have! It has four different modes of playing that include motion, touch screen, microphone and
slide out keyboard. It comes with three games to get you started, and can function as an e-reader, photo album, art studio and coloring book.
We had a similar game from V-Tech years ago for my girls, I’m contemplating buying this one for my boy as an upgrade! The age range for this game is 3-8 years old.
2. Mega Bloks First Builders Big Building Bag, 80-Piece (Classic)
These blocks are by far the best purchase we have ever made for our kids. My oldest is 10 and she recieved the mega bloks wagon for Christmas when she was one. We still have the wagon and have purchased the extra blocks set a few times through the years. These things last for ever and provide hours of fun! They are great for ALL preschool ages and older!
3. Learning Resources Gears! Gears! Gears!
This block set offers tons of opportunities for young children to experiment with simple mechanics and science. They come in bright colors and include many ways to build. It includes pillars, connectors and cranks. This is a great set for kids who love to explore!
I don’t know about you, but I LOVED this game as a kid, and all my kids have too. We are actually on our third game because they have played it to death. Literally! This game is very affordable, and is perfect for kids who have never played board games before, or older ones who have and enjoy them. It is a good way to teach young kids their colors as well.
Does this not look like the funnest thing? If we had room I would buy this in a heart beat. It looks like a great way for the preschooler in your life to ward of some cabin fever!
6. Little Tikes Super Chef Kitchen
My kids have had this kitchen for YEARS! It’s made it through my kids, my daycare kids, and my boy and it is still standing. That should say something about the longevity of this kitchen! It makes noise, comes with a phone, plates, coffee pot and skillet. The stickers are easy to attach and assembly is so easy I could have done it!
7. Playskool Play Favorites Sit ‘n Spin Toy
I loved this thing as a kid, and my girls have too. I am putting one of these on my boy’s wish list as well. Sit and Spins are great when your preschooler needs to get a little bit of extra energy out (and you don’t have an indoor trampoline….). I don’t think I have met a preschooler who didn’t love to move and the sit and spin is the perfect toy to do just that!
8. Chutes and Ladders Board Game
This is another one of those must have games for preschoolers! Chutes and Ladders teaches the concept of up, down, and number recognition. The game is a lot of fun and can be enjoyed by the whole family!
9. Fisher-Price Little People Fun Sounds Farm
My girls absolutely LOVED Little People. We had a huge set when they were preschoolers. This is the basic beginners set that includes the barn, animals, and the farmer. This set makes animal sounds and is great for preschoolers!
10.Books!
Preschoolers love books, and love being read to! Some of our favorite authors at the preschool age are Mo Willems, Dr. Seuss, Karma Wilson and Jane Yolen.
Do you have any thing to add to this list of gift ideas for preschoolers?

Grandma is buying a trampoline for my active kindergartener for Christmas, I’m hoping it helps her get the wiggles out!

What a great giveaway! I found your blog through Pinterest. This giveaway would bless my family greatly. We are pretty broke right now due to my husband being out of work for the last three months. We don’t really need to buy anything for Christmas, but it sure would be nice to!

Would love to win and pay for some homeschooling extras for next year. Thanks for hosting.

Love this post, thanks for all of the great ideas. This is going to be a ‘homemade’ Christmas for us this year, with many big changes happening we are trying to keep it as simple as possible to stay sane without appearing ‘cheap’ and selfish.. I’d love to be able to give a lot more but it is just not possible this year.

Prayers to you and your family! We have been through job losses over the holidays before and it is so hard…
Sharon Burroughs says
Huge blessing as we are dealing with job loss. This would help provide books for school and a gift or two for Christmas.

Our business will be closed in January and February. It will help us to get Christmas for the kids and also to meet some other needs.

Great list! We are fans of books here, as they take up the least room 🙂 An amazing giveaway as well! We’d be able to get everyone on our list Christmas gifts and have plenty leftover for making treats for others we know. Thank you so much!

This is a great list! My son loves the play kitchen in the church nursery, so I know he would love having one at home. Things are pretty tight for us financially this year, so winning this giveaway would allow us to pay off some bills and still give our kids a nice Christmas.
Misty says
Bahaha! This made me smile 🙂 I have had a few of those destructive children through the years!
Misty says
Congratulations on beginning homeschooling 🙂 Good luck!

Winning this would be a huge blessing for my family. I recently started homeschooling my son and the costs of supplies and gas to get to homeschool groups add up quickly. Also, to be able to give my children meaningful presents would be a blessing.

I haven’t ventured into the land of Chutes and Ladders or Candy Land yet. . . Soon. Games are a little hard with an 18 month old that destroys everything, ha ha.

What great gift ideas! I love the trampoline – cute! Perfect for when we’re stuck inside during a cold snap!
Would I ever love to win this giveaway. It would definitely help bless my family and would give me the opportunity to bless my favourite charities this Christmas too!
Thanks for hosting.

I could never imagine putting one in my little house! But, I know a lot who do. If we had a basement it would be a great gift for my wiggly boy!

I love these ideas! I really love the trampoline. It’s not something most people think about. It really helps keep my son’s focus in our homeschool. It gets the wiggles and giggles out so he can focus! LOL!
