The holiday shopping season is upon us, and if you homeschool, you may be wondering what to add to your child’s stocking. Here are some homeschool stocking stuffer ideas that are sure to work for your homeschool family!
Pencils and Writing Tools
When I do our back to school shopping, I always go practical in the pencil department. I don’t buy the mechanical or character themed pencils. But, I will do that for stocking stuffers 🙂 Also grab the cute pencil grips, fun erasers, highlighters and other writing tools. These can encourage your budding writer, AND your struggling writer as well.
Notebooks and Journaling Supplies
Notebooks make a great stocking stuffer for any homeschooler. My kids love to draw, write and journal and if yours do too then consider stuffing the stockings with some brightly colored notebooks, sketch pads, or journals. Consider tools your children may need to complete journaling. Bullet journaling and bible journaling are really in as well.
Art Supplies
Christmas is a great time to stock up on art supplies for your homeschooler. Crafting markers and sketch pencils like these would make a great stocking stuffer and they can double as supplies for art class! My daughter loves the velvet art kits and color by numbers. Even adults love coloring books! So consider those for your homeschool teens stocking.
Magazine subscriptions
Does your child love receiving mail? If so, consider a magazine subscription! You will typically get a card to go along with your subscription and that card will fit perfectly in a stocking. The gift lasts all year, and if you keep and eye out, you can get great deals on magazine subscriptions through groupon.
Gift Cards
Gift cards make the perfect gift, because kids can pick out an item that they will love themselves. Another option is to purchase a gift card to educational attractions like the zoo or museum. They also fit well in a stocking!
What are you buying your homeschooler this Christmas? Any other homeschool stocking stuffer ideas?
