How many times have you read a great book and then been disappointed when it’s over? I have done this TONS of times, and if you’re a reader then you probably have too! My kids are the same way! Through the years they have devoured book after book, and oftentimes want more. This is why book series are so popular in our home!
Book series allows kids to truly invest in the characters in their books. They are able to get to know them, see them grow, and share in their ups and downs. Book series encourages long-term reading because the child wants to read more about a character they enjoyed. A good book series can literally grow a reader!
