Monica Swanson and I chat homeschooling, gap years, what it’s like raising all boys, how we can connect with our kids, embrace TIME and so much more.
Today’s Fess Up Friday interview is with Monica Swanson. I have been a long time listener of Monica’s podcast and was SO excited to chat with her today about her homeschool joys, struggles and fears. I love how she can look back on her homeschool years and see one of the biggest gifts homeschooling allowed her to experience-TIME.
Monica Swanson wife, mom, blogger, podcast host, and author of The Boy Mom: What Your Son Needs Most from You. Monica is passionate about encouraging moms who are raising boys in today’s world and she’s joined us today in a candid discussion about a mother’s influence in the life of her sons.
She and her doctor-husband, Dave, have one son in college and three more boys at home, dividing their time between homeschooling and surfing. The Swansons enjoy growing tropical fruit at their home in the country on the North Shore of Oahu, HI.
In this episode, Monica and I chat homeschooling, gap years, what it’s like raising all boys, how we can connect with our kids and so much more.
